If payment is not collected at the time of service or prior to the scheduled appointment, the card on file will be charged
for any outstanding invoice or agreed-upon deposit amount.

Scope of Services

Peace of Mind Home & Estate Support provides organizational support, consultation, and coordination related to
downsizing, packing and organizing. Our services do not include moving, cleaning, junk removal, or other third party
services.
Coordination of and payment to third parties for services not provided by Peace of Mind Home & Estate Support are
the responsibility of the Client.

Travel & Transportation

Travel outside the Edmonton area may incur mileage or travel time fees. Transportation of items will only occur with
client approval and may be quoted/priced separately depending on volume.

Removal, Donation & Disposal Liability

Once items have been removed from the property for the purpose of disposal, donation, recycling, or off-site storage,
they are considered irretrievable.
Peace of Mind Home & Estate Support is not liable for any items after they have been removed from the premises,
including but not limited to items discarded, donated, or transferred to third parties.

Proof of Authority & Client Decision-Making

The Client confirms they have the legal authority to direct decisions regarding the contents of the property, including
the retention, removal, donation, sale, rehoming, and disposal of items.
The Client or an appropriately authorized representative must be available during sessions to provide direction as
needed. Peace of Mind Home & Estate Support will not make independent decisions regarding the disposition of items
unless explicitly authorized in advance. Where such authorization is provided, Peace of Mind Home & Estate Support
will not be held liable for decisions made within the agreed scope of authorization, except where liability cannot legally
be excluded.
We approach all belongings with care and respect, and the Client’s participation helps ensure decisions reflect their
wishes and priorities.

Valuable Identification/Resale

The Client acknowledges that while reasonable care and professional judgment will be used to identify items of
potential monetary, sentimental, or personal importance, Peace of Mind Home & Estate Support does not guarantee
the identification of all items of value. The Client remains solely responsible for reviewing and confirming which items
are to be retained, sold, donated, or discarded.

Peace of Mind Home & Estate Support is not liable for any items of value that are overlooked, misidentified, or
subsequently removed, donated, or disposed of as part of the agreed services.

Peace of Mind Home & Estate Support may recommend or coordinate third-party service providers or vendors. The
Company is not responsible for the actions, performance, communication, or outcomes of third-party vendors.

The Client agrees to disclose any known hazards within the property, including but not limited to biohazards, mold,
pests, or unsafe structural conditions. Peace of Mind Home & Estate Support reserves the right to pause or terminate
services if the environment is deemed unsafe.
